Some aircraft wear a special livery once. N746JB has worn one three times — always for the same team. In September 2025, JetBlue and the New York Jets unveiled the third Jets-themed scheme this particular Airbus A320 has carried in its career, an updated design built around the team's 2025 uniforms and unveiled at a gate-side event at JetBlue's Terminal 5 at JFK.
Built by Airbus as MSN 3622, the aircraft was delivered new to JetBlue on September 24, 2008, making it 17 years old at the time of this repaint — and for nearly its entire working life, it has carried the Jets' colors in one form or another, first as the "JetGreen" livery in 2010, JetBlue's first sports-themed aircraft, then an updated Jets scheme in 2017, and now this third iteration. It's powered by V2527-A5 engines and flies as an A320-232, JetBlue's workhorse narrowbody.
This latest design swaps JetBlue's signature blue for the Jets' traditional green, with white wings and white stripes across the fuselage inspired by the team's jersey sleeves, while the belly, engines, tail, and doors all carry prominent Jets branding. The aircraft picked up its new paint at Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon, Georgia, before ferrying back to JFK in mid-September 2025 — and JetBlue has been the Jets' official airline partner since 2009, making this less a marketing wrap and more a decade-and-a-half-long running tradition on a single, specific tail.
